PSA - Charity Children4Children Partnership

For now 3 years when the Rainbow PSA CHARITY community is supporting over 50 pupils with our partner school in Nakaseke District. We commend the PSA Charity for the great work of building the nation through education sponsorship program.

Children4Children sponsorship program aims at ensuring that children from Green light families (Well off and Rich) give back to children from Red Dark families (Impoverished) through the help of their parents or guardians. From this background SAI decided to initiate partnerships with Parents in Urban schools to ensure that their Children support other Children from the Rural Communities hence describing the program Children4Children Sponsorship Program.

Why Children4Children Program
SAI Uplifts the status of Women and Children through male engagement to ensure safe motherhood, prevent gender based violence and Violence against children, promotion of Sexual Reproductive health Rights Including HIV/AIDs prevention continuum. MEN in African context are decision makers in families and communities, however most of the men tend to develop negative masculinities that create abusive environment for both spouses and children. This leaves many families in separation and the burden to raise the children is left for the Women. At SAI we pledge to support MEN/BOYS to become fathers/parents again in order to raise a generation of young people that respects human dignity and to restore hope to hopelessly and Marginalized Mothers and Children.

Our Pledge to uplift the status of Women and Children doesn’t stop from restoration of  families but JOINING hands with capable individuals and Institutions to ensure that the marginalized children have access to education and other social services like primary health care. We ensure that we reunite families in order for MEN to manage their responsibilities again and remind them about their obligation including the right to education for children. However, most of our efforts towards this objective remains futile due to demographic factors in our societies hence left with no option but support the young generation who mostly leave with their grandmothers whose energy to support them has deteriorated due to age and health complications.

GIVE A HAND
We call upon the able-bodied Individuals and Institutions to support the cause, to cut the vicious cycle today. 100$ will keep a child in school per annum with all the school requirements. Appreciation
Much applaud goes to the PSA Charity Community of Rainbow international school, Zana Mixed Secondary School for the bursaries of the excelled Pupils to progress for high school education and other partners working hand in hand with SAI and PSA to uplift the status of the marginalized children while keeping them in school.

The Future
Men can be MEN again and become fruitful to their families and communities. Once we equip and inspire men/boys to use their strength to love, serve and protect, we will turn the tide against crime, violence, abuse and social disintegration and build a nation that is safe, secure and prosperous for all. At SAI we appreciate all those who have come up to support our effort. Equip a man, build the nation and Restore dignity!
